Owen "helps" me unload the silverware from the dishwasher all the time now. IT IS PRECIOUS!!! Lately though, he has started to put the spoons and forks in his mouth before handing them to me ... what can you say??? I loved a comment our preacher made recently in a sermon about prayer... he was talking about how when we let our children "help" it usually takes much longer and is not done perfectly, but we let them help because we love them. He said prayer is kinda like that... God doesn't need our help, in fact, we get in the way a lot more than we end up helping, but He loves us, so He invites us to "help" Him. Owen and I have an agreement... when he finds his spoon, he gets to keep it!! :)
