I had a stomach bug Easter weekend, and missed out on all the fun activities, but apparently Jim had to stop Owen from collecting eggs at some point  because Jesse was stopping to eat all the goodies inside each egg  before moving on!  :)

So boys, you will probably hate your mom and aunts for these pictures when you are sixteen and wrestling each other to the death, but I hope in the midst of all that rough and tumble you can remember to always watch out for each other!  You came into this world only six weeks apart and to tell the truth, you have been the "trial and error" babies! :)  The firstborns!  So along with tractors and trains you also have parents who had no idea what they were doing in common!  You are first cousins that see each other four or five or six times a week!  I never had cousins that close (in age OR location) and I see already what a blessing it is, what I hope and pray will always be a blessing to you!  So treat each other kindly and remember you've been together on this road a long time!  I know one thing for sure, no two boys have been loved as dearly and deeply and widely as you two!! Use those blessings for good in this world!

Thanksgiving 2012

   We had a great Thanksgiving!  We spent the day at Mom and Dad's with lots of extended family and friends.  Julie brought the boys' new toy, a tractor they can drive around outside, and they had a blast in the 70 degree weather!  The best part of the day was Jesse, though.  When someone told him he was a genius, he said, "I'm not a genius, I'm a Perry!!!!"  Then, Jesse and Owen followed Julie into the bathroom and before she could stop him, Jesse turned the shower on and soaked himself...hysterical!!  We are so truly thankful to our God for all his many bountiful gifts and these two boys top the list!!!!

Owen's 2nd Birthday

                  Well, a little late is better than never, right?   Here are the pics from Owen's 2nd birthday.  We went with a truck theme since he loves all things that move!  My mom brought over some of Michael's old "big trucks" and the boys had a blast playing with them.

Julie got the boys a shared present... a tractor they can drive!  To say it was a hit, is a definite understatement!  We let them ride for a few minutes in the house and forevermore it is an outdoor toy! :)

Owen, your second year of life has been so much fun (and so much more sleep at night)!  You are such a happy boy and you love trucks, trains, and tractors!  You also love tools and are constantly "fixing" things around our house.  You learn new words all the time and I'm amazed at your expanding vocabulary and memory!  You are very special and we are honored that God allows us to be your parents!
