Memorial Day

Well, this Memorial Day was Owen's first time in the pool.  After I COVERED him in sunscreen (he also was in a float with a roof and he had a hat on... you can breathe now Lynsay :) we didn't stay in the water long, but I think he enjoyed himself and we look forward to more time there!

We had a great time with friends.  Dawson and Emma came and played in the pool.
They were too cute and I hate that I didn't get a better picture... you can't even see Emma in this one, but here's proof that Owen had some friends on this day!

We grilled out and had a feast.  Even Jason and Kristen came with Ethan and ate lunch with us!

Isn't he a doll??? :)

Owen is 6 months old!

This was 6 months ago...

How our little guy has changed so much!!  He is rolling everywhere, laughing, and developing more and more personality every day!  He is getting very close to sitting up by himself.  It's hard to believe that it's been half a year.  We are so blessed by him.  Enjoy these pics of our 6 month old!!!

He's much more alert and interested in EVERYTHING these days!

He's very active!

Rolly-Polly

Here is just a little footage from my camera.  I can't figure out how to post videos from my actual video camera, so I know this is not good quality, but I also know that grandparents just want to see Owen... good quality footage or not. :) So, here is "Richly Blessed's" video debut...

Baby Food

Julie came over a few weeks ago and we made carrots for Owen.  It really was easy and pretty fast.  I have green peas and green beans ready to make next! :)

Family Work Day #1

Last Saturday, we started something WONDERFUL!!!  It's "Family Work Day."  You know those projects that you need someone else's help/expertise to complete... or maybe the projects that just need someone else to motivate you to finish?  Well, we have started bringing along the whole extended family to help and last Saturday was at our house.  We were able to put up shelves in our garage, put up a tool holder in the garage, check our gutters (thankfully no leaves), clean out a bird nest, pressure wash the entire house, plant flowers by the mailbox, in a planter, and monkey grass around our sidewalk, extend our front bed, pull weeds, put down mulch, put up a saying inside, fix a broken cabinet, and all with two babies!!!  We did it all in a matter of a few hours.  Here are some fun shots of our day.

HYSTERICAL!

Love our new storage!
