Playing Outside

Well, I knew it was coming!  Our boy loves to be outside... this morning he was at the front door pointing and whining to go out.  I have a feeling this will be a growing trend for a long while.  Luckily we have had a warmer than usual winter, so we have been able to go out several afternoons this week.  (Ok, those who know me best, know that a warm winter is NOT what I would consider lucky... in fact the exact opposite, but I'm trying to be positive people! :)  Anyways... here are some shots of Owen outside! :)

One of his favorite activities is running back and forth on the driveway.

And of course, he LOVES the steps!  He is still crawling up and down them.

The end of our driveway slopes down just a tad... it cracks me up that he turns around and tries to go down it like a step! :)  Of course this is a picture of him trying to get into the road!! AUGHH!  Did I mention I have my hands full? :)

A Little Light Reading

Owen loves to pull books off bookshelves.  This is the book I found him with the other night.  HYSTERICAL!!!

Owen's 1st Haircut

So Owen was in a need of his first haircut... here is the proof.

I loved, loved, loved his curls, but they were out of control, so we took Owen to Ms. Debbi, our friend from church, to get his first haircut.

Aunt JuJu joined us since Daddy was at work.

This is Owen pointing to one of the clocks in the shop! Big surprise! :)

What kept him still?  Why of course:  food!!  I had brought some grapes, but Ms. Debbi was kind enough to have puffs on hand for this very occasion.  (She's done a few of these first haircuts before! :)

My little boy!!

Okay, I'll be honest... the hair in a bag kinda groses me out!  :)
My little guy is growing up!  I'll have to post another picture of the back soon!  We tried to keep the curls without it looking like his hair had never seen a brush!

Peek-a-boo!

The other night Owen was playing with my lunch bag and he started a great game of peek-a-boo.

Of course we had to take a break to examine the zipper!

"Did you leave any food in here for me Mom?"

Pics of Owen from Aunt Kristy Lane

A few Saturdays ago Jim and I, and some friends, did a 5K at the Zoo!  (Don't get any strange ideas of me being a runner... I walked most of it, but Jim ran all of it in 30 minutes!! :)  Aunt Kristy Lane and Uncle Michael volunteered to keep Owen since some of the trails were rough and the weather was cold.  These are some shots that she took on her new camera!
