Halloween Party

Saturday night was the second time Owen got to wear his frog costume.  (The first being the church fall party a few weeks ago).  This was Halloween Havoc and it was a lot of fun.  My mom found the frog  costume for seven dollars and when all is said and done he will have worn it three times.  Not bad! :)  Jenn did a great job as usual and the party was a hit.  Here are some pics from our night of fun.

Genise and I dressed up as frazzled moms... we had diapers and kleenex and wipes hanging out of pockets, in our hair, etc.  Genise even had a toy car pinned in a hair roller.  Later in the night when Owen spat up, I just grabbed the kleenex that was part of my costume. Brilliant idea Genise... I got to wear my sweats and my props came in handy! :)

Date Night

Jim and I had a date night a few nights ago...

                                    When the baby is away, the parents will ... eat chocolate! :)

Owen is 11 months!

Our little guy is11 months old!  He has just learned to blow kisses, is clapping all the time now, said "bye-bye" for the first time this week, and is our daily JOY!  I can't believe in four short weeks our baby will be ONE!  Time flies when you're having fun (and when you're in a year of interrupted sleep!: ) Enjoy the pics of our 11 month old!  (My favorite is the last one!)

Owen's First Boo-Boo

A few weeks ago, Owen got his first boo-boo.  He got a hold of a Sprite can and slit his finger... ouch!!  He actually didn't complain/cry one bit... I just looked down and noticed blood.  We put a band-aid on his finger, but he pulled it off quickly... the second one did not last much longer, so we gave up on the band-aid.  In just a few years he will think they are the coolest thing ever and want one... seven...ten, even with no boo-boo.  :)

Family Visit

Last week we traveled to Ohio to see Jim's family.  Andrew and Stephanie (Jim's brother and wife) had their first baby, Elizabeth, and Jim's parents left their sailboat in Panama and flew in for the happy occasion.  Two of Jim's uncles, one aunt, and his grandmother on his mom's side and his grandfather on his dad's side all made the trip to see everyone.  We had family from TN, Ohio, Michigan, and Arizona.  We had a great time visiting.

We took an afternoon trip to a local pumpkin patch.  It was extremely cold! :)

Owen LOVED exploring a new place and his favorite part was the stairs!  He loved the way his voice would echo when he got to the very top!
