Farmer's Market

Mimi, Aunt JuJu, Aunt Kristy Lane, Jesse, Owen, and I took a trip to the Farmer's Market last week.  I bought some butternut squash, peaches, and zucchini to make for Owen.  He fell asleep the last few minutes.  We had a great afternoon!

He rides with one foot up a lot of times! :)

Happy Nine Months!

Owen is now nine months old!!  He is a bundle of joy and seems to learn something new every week! Today his new trick was trying to open all the closed doors in the house. He is waving hello and goodbye now.  He is still "frog" crawling. And he loves to move!  He weighs 20 pounds and is 28 inches long.  He is in the 40 % for weight and the 70% for height.  The doctor said today that he is tall and lean.  These pictures were almost impossible to take!  Owen loves to climb his dog now... (head first over the top) so I thought you might enjoy seeing what I went through to get these shots... :)

The picture below shows one of  Owen's new thing... he points! A lot of times he will point at things in books, but he also points at toys, etc.  It's adorable!

My Sweet Husband

Sunday morning Jim let me sleep in (that was till 7:00 AM :), and because he didn't won't to wake me up to feed Owen his breakfast (have I mentioned that Owen is NOT a quiet child ?!!??), this is where I found my boys that morning eating bananas and cereal.

Moving On Up!

Owen is now pulling up on furniture.  He did it for the first time last week and Mimi and I got to see it!  Most of the time he just pulls up on his knees, but the very first time he did it, he pulled up to his feet.  Tonight he pulled up on the ottoman and grabbed Jim's phone.  Now we have to baby proof even higher!! :)  Here are some shots of our little guy pulling up!
